Almost 10 weeks already

She just keeps growing. She was at the doctor last week and weight 9 lbs 3 oz. At her 2 month appointment, she was in her 24th percentile for weight, 50th percentile for length at 20 3/4, and her 75th percentile for head at 37.7. She's doing pretty well, and we're just experimenting with formulas now. They believe she may have a cow's milk allergy, so we're on hypoallergenic formula.

I go back to work on Thursday and she will start daycare. I'm hoping that having just two days before the weekend will help me to ease back into it a bit more, and to deal better with taking her to daycare. I was able to cut back on my hours a little, so hopefully that will help.

I have entered her in a local contest called "Baby Idol." Once she's up to be voted for, I'll post the site. :)

Just keeps growing

As of yesterday, Kaitlyn is up to 8 lbs 3 oz! I can hardly believe she's growing so fast and that she'll be 2 months in just over a week. It doesn't seem possible. We've got a few good routines now, but we'll see how all that goes when I go back to work at the end of the month. :)

Kaitlyn has started smiling more on her own, reaching out for things a bit more, and whenever she is being held upright she's lifting up her head to see what's around. The doctor thinks she may have a bit of colic, but luckily so far she's been able to be comforted by us during fussy times, she just doesn't like being put down. The baby carrier has been a lifesaver. :)
